The Saudi Run

Following up on my incredibly long posting about a recent trip from Doha to Dubai through Saudi Arabia, I’ve compiled a fairly long list outlining how to go about undertaking this trip yourself. The PDF file has links in it, so you can easily see where you need to go on google maps.

I’m also trying to put together some of the forms you may need to get filled out before you leave, but I can’t seem to find them at the moment. I’ll update this posting when I do. Please, if you find I’ve missed something, big or small, let me know below.

So to whet your appetite, here are some photos from along the route. Bon voyage!

Hi Vincent, feel free to ask any questions you may have. I also mentioned a previous article, 1001 Arabian Immigration Booths, that has a bunch of information in it, though less specific than the details I attempt in this post. And in case you missed it, there is a PDF file that contains the bulk of the information on what to do, where to go, etc.

Do keep in mind that I’ve written this from the point of view of a western expat, your passport and background may influence your experience, as in Qatar, Saudi and the UAE, not everyone is treated equally.
