The Saudi Run
Following up on my incredibly long posting about a recent trip from Doha to Dubai through Saudi Arabia, I’ve compiled a fairly long list outlining how to go about undertaking this trip yourself. The PDF file has links in it, so you can easily see where you need to go on google maps.
I’m also trying to put together some of the forms you may need to get filled out before you leave, but I can’t seem to find them at the moment. I’ll update this posting when I do. Please, if you find I’ve missed something, big or small, let me know below.
So to whet your appetite, here are some photos from along the route. Bon voyage!
Hi,
I read your article on this regard & am quite interested to knowing more details on this concern. My family & I are planning for the same experience, but wt little knowledge on where to start wt. how can we get in touch wt you to gain valuable informations as we are to begin from scratch/zero. appreciate your response, thanks so much!
Hi Vincent, feel free to ask any questions you may have. I also mentioned a previous article, 1001 Arabian Immigration Booths, that has a bunch of information in it, though less specific than the details I attempt in this post. And in case you missed it, there is a PDF file that contains the bulk of the information on what to do, where to go, etc.
Do keep in mind that I’ve written this from the point of view of a western expat, your passport and background may influence your experience, as in Qatar, Saudi and the UAE, not everyone is treated equally.
hey … i posted a comment on your other article but seems like it wasnt published .
Anyway .. what i want to know is that are the borders ( both saudi - qatar & saudi - uae ) completely fenced ?
